Marriage Cohort Groups
Marriage can be tough, but you don't have to do it alone. In fact, we're not supposed to! Whether you've been married a lifetime or just for a day, we invite you to be a part of our marriage cohort. The word cohort can be defined as individuals who are banded together for a common purpose or cause. These groups of 2-4 couples will meet once a month for a year beginning the end of October. Let our marriage mentors walk alongside you, encourage and challenge you as you seek to grow closer to Christ and one another. These groups will meet on various days, at various times according to the mentors' schedules and sign ups will begin the first part of October. Hello! It is my joy to serve at Compassion Church as both an Elder and the Family Life Ministry Coordinator! My family has been a part of Compassion since 2014. As a former staff person at another local ministry, God grew my own heart of compassion immensely.
My passion is to encourage others while sharing truth and helping them to see the hope Jesus offers when life gets tricky. As I am ministering to families, I’m also raising mine so I’m keenly aware of the challenges that can arise with that. I’m so glad you are here, and I look forward to meeting you soon!
