How can I form solid Christian friendships and community?
How do I meet people in my church?
A "Unity Group" is a gathering of people who desire to grow in their relationships with one another and with Christ. They are diverse in where they meet. They can meet in people’s homes, coffee shops, parks, Compassion's building,  an office, or anywhere else!  They are mission driven and have continuity in structure.  Uunity Group leaders foster an atmosphere of love, support, and discipleship that extend the vision and mission of Compassion Church and the Kingdom of God. Below is an overview of Unity Groups:

Unity Group Vision: Unity with one another for Christ

Unity Group Mission:  CommUNITY that enables each other to more closely follow Jesus

Unity Group Core Values:
  • Share Authentically and Transparently
  • Celebrate with Thanksgiving, Praise, Worship, and Encouragement
  • Support with Compassion, Confession, Discussion, Prayer, and Healing
  • Grow with Development, Gifting Identification, Equipping, and Opportunity
  • Deepen individual relationships with Jesus

Scripture tells us over and over how important it is to be in relationship with each other.  God desires us to be unified with each other at deeper levels beyond the surface.  Relationships take time to build and Unity Groups are a safe environment to provide fertile soil for unity and depth to take root.  As you connect with others we pray your relationship with Jesus will grow stronger enabling you to contribute more to your Unity Group and location where God has planted you. Another goal of these are to provide encouragement and accountability in sharing the message of Jesus with others.

We encourage you to reach out and get connected! Want to join? Have a desire to start a Compassion Unity Group? Please email our Unity Group Director at adam.k.shooltz@gmail.com and we will get you plugged into a group and/or the next leader training.
