Compassion Foster Closet Director:
Leah McMullin
To be the Director of foster care ministry and the Compassion Foster Closet here at
Compassion Church is so humbling. My husband Nate and I have been married for 10 years and have three wonderful boys. We have served in ministry together since 2012 and were licensed foster parents from 2014-2019. During our time fostering we relied so heavily on the support we had from friends and family. When we closed our license after adopting our youngest, we began to talk about “someday dreams” and ways we could continue to make a difference within the foster care community. Opening a foster closet was one of those dreams, and to see the way God has opened door after door and given us such an incredible opportunity to realize that dream is incredible. I love our value that states, “We’ll do whatever it takes,” because that defines exactly what this ministry is about. There is a need, and we feel called to do whatever it takes to meet that need. God is good and I know He has big plans for this ministry! If you have questions or have a passion to reach children in foster care, please email us to get involved! [email protected] |
