2025  |  Jesus, Hope, & Love FOR ALL  |  Mark 4:26-29

Our vision, “Jesus, Hope, and Love for All” (Matthew 28:18-20) is built upon our collective obedience to Jesus and the Scriptures and faith in what He has called all of us to be a part of. Something we are confident is much bigger than ourselves! As we finish out 2024 and lean into the new year this vision has never been more important. How we leverage our God-given resources will have profound eternal impact in our community now and in our future. On this matter, you will find our top three priorities for the coming year financially which both assist and further the vision of Compassion. Please pray about how your on-going tithe and even additional offerings could can both sustain our vision as well as expand it. With faith like fish and loaves, we believe that God is the multiplier of all that we give.

TOP 3 PRIORITIES

Living Out Our Mission
What flows out of our church for both one another and those outside of Compassion is nothing but the love and empowerment of the Gospel. Doing this requires increased resources to reach our community. Your tithing and increased giving will help expand and launch key areas of our outreach: Storehouse expansion, monthly support for our mission partners in Honduras, Ukraine, India, Kenya, and Israel, and more. We want to strengthen our local partnerships: Feed Kids First, Plain and Canton City partnerships, and Dream Center Global. Partner with us to do more for Plain Township, NE Ohio, and beyond!
Excellence in Ministry
We praise God that we are debt free as a church and own our building outright. We want to steward this blessing well with adequate renovations to ensure a modern look as well as updated safety and updated technology. We want to create environments for our kids, students, and adults that is welcoming, inviting, and relevant to the days we are living. In addition to this, we can't forget about the cost of upkeep, maintenance, repairs, etc. that continually need made. Along with maintaining our current team.
Two key areas of upgrade needed and a priority is our exterior front entrance way with new steps, ramp, railing for safety and landscaping. Secondly, our projectors and screens are in desperate need of updating as they are years past their service life. With updated technology we are able to incorporate more creativity and excellence into our gatherings reaching our current generation more effectively through multimedia. Both of these upgrades, along with the maintaining of our facility, are a priority for this year. As of 1/15/25 we have a family who has given a matching gift of 10,000.00 for the above upgrades. We are currently seeking to raise an additional 14,000.00 for projectors and screens. If you are interested in contributing towards this matching gift please email at [email protected].
Move one “part time” ministry position to” full time” for Ministry in Compassion
This past year we walked by faith and were able to add on Adam Shooltz part time with the intent that in 2025 we would again walk in faith to bring him on full time. Adam has worked hard this past year in helping to establish Compassion in many ways not to mention his continued work in helping to shepherd through visitation, preaching, and leading our student ministry. Bringing him on full time will only enhance and further the excellence in ministry at Compassion.

YOUR GIVING MAKES AN IMPACT

What is possible for Compassion when we live generously and with obedience to Him by consistently investing into Compassion? The answers are infinite because we serve a God who multiplies. This year our church wide focus is “Jesus, Hope, and Love FOR ALL.” 2025 will be a year of outreach and connecting with others in our community. With excellence in all areas of ministry (internally and externally) we believe the Lord is going to use us to bring His Gospel to many in our area! Just as the seed that was planted grows and is multiplied in Mark 4:26-29, we believe God will multiply what we give. So with generous and cheerful hearts—lets give unto the Lord together in 2025.
