2024 FISH & LOAVES FAITH
At Compassion, our vision will always be our top focus. Our vision, “Jesus, Hope, and Love for All” (Matthew 28:18-20) is built upon our collective obedience to Christ and faith in what He has called all of us to be a part of. As we finish 2023 and look ahead to 2024 and beyond, this vision has never been more important. How we leverage our God-given resources will have profound eternal impact in our community now and in our future. On this matter, you will find our top three priorities for the coming year financially which both assist and further the vision of Compassion. Please pray about how your on-going tithe and even additional offerings could make a huge impact for the Kingdom and vision of Compassion! Let’s come together and live with Fish and Loaves kind of faith for our own households and our church!
Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. John 6:11 NIV

TOP 3 PRIORITIES
Expand Our Ministry Team
The Lord has made it clear that we are to step out and expand our ministry team by adding one full time pastoral position. This will enable us to better shepherd Compassion as well as serve individuals and families in a more personal way.

Compassion Building
We praise God that we are debt free as a church and own our building outright. We want to steward this blessing well with adequate renovations to ensure a modern look as well as updated safety and updated technology. In addition to this, we can't forget about the costs of upkeep, maintenance, repairs, etc. that continually need to be made. We want to create environments for our kids, students, and adults that is welcoming, inviting, and relevant to the days we are living. Installation of a new roof began in the fall, completion is expected this spring. This is a much needed upgrade that comes at a high cost. We are thankful to be able to make this happen and look forward to seeing the other needed changes we will be able to make throughout the year.

Living Out Our Mission
What flows out of our church for both one another and those outside of Compassion is nothing but the love and empowerment of the Gospel. Doing this requires increased resources to reach our community. Your tithing and increased giving will help expand and launch key areas of our outreach: Compassion Care (a financial assistance program for Compassion members who meet certain criteria for basic needs), Foster Closet expansion, monthly support for our mission partners in Honduras, Ukraine, India, Kenya, and Israel. We want to strengthen our local partnerships: Feed Kids First, Plain and Canton City partnerships, and Dream Center Global. Partner with us to do more good!

YOUR GIVING MAKES AN IMPACT
What is possible for God’s kingdom if you commit to partner with Compassion Church, by selecting a percent of your income and consistently invest that amount into Compassion? The answers are infinite because we serve a God who multiplies. This year our church wide focus is living with a “Fish and Loaves” kind of faith. We see this in John 6: 1-15 when Jesus multiplied five loaves of bread and two small fish. Partner with God and see how He multiplies your “fish and loaves” in our community and church!
