2026  |  BUILDING WITH FAITH

At Compassion, our vision of “Jesus, Hope and Love for All” remains our highest priority and passion. This calling comes from Matthew 28:18-20, and its fruit is built upon our collective obedience to Christ and faith in what He has invited each of us to be part of. As we look ahead, this vision is as important as ever. How we steward the resources God has entrusted to us will have a meaningful impact in our community -- both now and for generations to come.

2025 Overview
Income: $298,689
Expenses:$285,978

2026 Budget
$375,000

This represents a meaningful step forward that will require continued growth and faithfulness in giving. We invite you to prayerfully consider how your ongoing generosity might play a part in what God is doing here. At Compassion we are grounded in grace, and understand that circumstances change. This is simply a tool to help us plan wisely and steward God’s resources well. Together, let’s move forward trusting God to multiply what is offered for his purposes.
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask or imagine...” Ephesians 3:20

TOP  PRIORITIES

Building Maintenance & Upgrades
This year we installed a new HVAC unit in our children’s wing ($24,500) to ensure the space remains safe, comfortable, and ready to serve the families and children who gather here each week. Thankfully, we were able to pay for this from our savings, but we are looking to replenish these savings so we remain prepared for future needs. In addition, we will begin sharing opportunities to contribute towards needed building upgrades in the near future.
Increase Ministry Capacity
This begins with bringing Pastor Sarah onto staff in a part-time role. She has faithfully volunteered for many years with excellence, humility, and consistency as a Pastor and overseeing our Family Life Ministry. We believe it is time to step out in faith to enable her to focus on discipling, shepherding, and strengthening so these ministries and Compassion as a whole can grow in health and impact.
We also believe moving Pastor Adam to a full-time role by the end of the year is an important next step. He has also served sacrificially for years beyond what his current part-time capacity allows. We recognize that leadership capacity must grow alongside the spiritual growth God is bringing to our church.

Our Why
We believe that a healthy local church is positioned to be both a light for those putting down roots and a life-saving refuge for those in need of Christ. Part of being healthy as a church is also being financially healthy. The financial vision we believe the Lord has placed before us represents a genuine step of faith and trust. After all, if it required no faith, would it truly be from God?
Coming together financially was also a defining mark of the New Testament church: “All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.” Acts 2:44–45. From the beginning, God’s people shared their resources so the mission of Christ could flourish and the needs of others could be met.
We share that same desire to see our community reached for Christ. Our building is more than a gathering space—it is a tool for ministry. Through the Storehouse, our partnership with Dream Center Global providing ESL classes, and Life Skills classes to our partnership with Children’s Network in Canton, we are actively serving our community. An empowered and supported staff is also essential for sustaining and growing these efforts. Maintaining a welcoming and functional space, while equipping leaders to shepherd and serve well, requires the faithful stewardship of all of us together.

YOUR GIVING MAKES AN IMPACT

What could God do if we each committed to partner with Compassion Church by faithfully giving a portion of what He has entrusted to us? The possibilities are endless because we serve a God who multiplies.
A few years back, our focus was living with a “Fish and Loaves” kind of faith—like in John 6:1–15, when Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish. This still holds for 2026! As we offer what we have, we trust God to multiply it for the good of our church and community.
