How can I break free from all areas of addiction in my life?
Recovery Nights
Overcoming addiction of any kind is difficult. Doing so alone may prove to be impossible. At Compassion we want to provide an environment of mutual encouragement and accountability for those wanting to experience freedom and victory of all areas of addiction. Whether it be pornography, alcohol, drugs, or anything else—we want to be there for you. Utilizing the word of God and a workbook these gatherings provide a Christ centered environment to battle addiction head on and walk in freedom. There is zero judgment in these gatherings, only encouragement and growth. All are welcome.
Recovery nights meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm at Compassion in room 206. The group is anchored by Jeff Edwards who has walked the long journey of recovery. One of Jeff’s mottos is: “You don’t have to be sober and miserable. You can be free and truly happy.”
For information on this gathering and how to walk in freedom from addiction please call, text or email Jeff at 330-327-4662 or [email protected].

Recovery Leader:
Jeff Edwards
Hello! I am honored to serve as Recovery Leader as well as a Deacon here at Compassion Church. For many years I battled addiction in my life but found sobriety and healing through message of Christ. My life was miserable before Christ and Christian community and I was desperately in need of direction. God met me where I was and never gave up on me. I am proud to say that I am now celebrating 14 years of sobriety!
Ever since those seasons of my life I have realized there is always a better way forward than staying stuck where we often are. I am excited to have you with us for authentic community and real discussion on the journey to freedom from addiction. |
